Our Story
From Family Farm to Hazmat Transport Specialist
Cessna Transport began in the 1970s as a family grain-hauling operation founded by Bud Shepherd. After expanding into hazardous materials transport in 1984, a partnership with BP Chemical became the foundation for what Cessna does today — specialized tanker transport for the chemical and agricultural industries. That partnership continues, and so does the family’s commitment to safe, professional operations.
